All ingredients are sourced responsibly with priority on wild, organic, sustainable and biodegradable ingredients. We use community hydro to process mineral and botanical raw materials and power our small-batch manufacturing facility. All paper packaging is post-consumer and components are recyclable including PEG plastic, aluminum and glass. For our wild botanicals, we source responsibly and locally. We hand-harvest abundantly available mineral-rich glacial minerals on the Copper River Delta where nearly 100 million tons of buttery glacial mud deposits itself on the expansive delta each year. Alaska Glacial always pledges to use the most sustainable methods for harvesting and manufacturing our products without the use of heavy equipment or mechanical techniques. We use good old-fashioned 5 gallon buckets and spade shovels. We often harvest less than 1% of our permitted resource. To paint a picture of the abundance, we harvest less than a drop in the bucket, so to speak!
Due to a comprehensive social and environmental company ethos, Alaska Glacial received BCorp status by the BLab in 2014 highlighting our commitment to clean beauty, green beauty and ethical beauty.
